The 64th edition of Lisboa Fashion Week<\/strong> starts today, co-organised with the Municipality of Lisbon<\/strong>, with a four-day programme combining design, innovation, technology, craftsmanship, activism and sustainability.<\/p>\n MUDE \u2013 Museum of Design<\/strong> will once again host the FAST TALKS<\/strong><\/a>, with a programme focused on the social, cultural, and environmental impact of the Fashion Industry. In addition to two conference panels, moderated by Rui Maria P\u00eago, which address the cultural<\/a><\/strong> and social<\/a> <\/strong>capital of Fashion, the event \u2014 designed in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Lisbon<\/strong> for the Italian Design Day<\/strong> \u2014 also includes a workshop<\/a> with Matteo Ward<\/strong> and the screening of two episodes from the documentary series Junk<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Tomorrow, 7th March,<\/strong> Lisboa Fashion Week makes its debut at CAM \u2013 Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian<\/strong> with a multidisciplinary programme developed in collaboration that explores the intersection between Fashion and the Visual Arts: Three Dialogues<\/strong> between Designers and Artists<\/strong> \u2014 Adriana Progan\u00f3 with Diogo Mestre<\/a>, Jo\u00e3o Pedro Vale and Nuno Alexandre Ferreira with Marta Gon\u00e7alves<\/a>, Mikhail Karikis with Lidija Kolovrat<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 and a fashion presentation by Constan\u00e7a Entrudo.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n From 8pm, the Fashion presentations return to the Sala do Risco at P\u00e1tio da Gal\u00e9<\/strong>, starting with the second and final phase of the Sangue Novo<\/a> supported by Seaside<\/strong> competition. After mentoring sessions with the jurors and developing new collections with the support of textile companies Calvelex\/Fabrics4Fashion, RDD Textiles, and Riopele<\/strong>, the five finalists Dri Martins, Duarte Jorge, Francisca Nabinho, Gabriel Silva Barros, <\/strong>and Ihanny Luquessa<\/strong> will now compete for the ModaLisboa x IED Istituto Europeo di Design<\/a>, ModaLisboa x RDD Textiles<\/a>, <\/strong>and ModaLisboa x Showpress<\/a> awards.<\/strong> The winners will be announced at the end of the show.<\/p>\n At 9.30pm, we welcome the exploratory projects of In\u00eas Barreto<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 one of the winners of Sangue Novo supported by Seaside in 2023, now presenting the collection she developed in the Master\u2019s Degree in Fashion Design at IED Milano \u2014 and Mestre Studio<\/strong><\/a>. The evening ends with the return of Alves\/Gon\u00e7alves<\/strong><\/a> to the Lisboa Fashion Week runway.<\/p>\n On Saturday, 8th March,<\/strong> Sala do Risco will host the IED Graduate Fashion Show<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 under the theme \u201cNostalgia for the Future\u201d, IED Istituto Europeo di Design presents the collections of 6 finalists from its campuses in Italy and Spain \u2014 and six renowned names of Portuguese Fashion: Carlos Gil<\/strong><\/a>, Lu\u00eds Onofre<\/a>, Kolovrat<\/a>, Lu\u00eds Buchinho<\/a>, Ricardo Andrez<\/a>, <\/strong>and Lu\u00eds Carvalho<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n On Sunday, 9th March<\/strong>, at 3.00pm, Portuguese Soul by APICCAPS<\/strong><\/a> makes its debut at MUDE – Museum of Design<\/strong>, with a presentation that consolidates the reflection on the intersection of design, craftsmanship, and responsible production. At 4.00pm, we return to P\u00e1tio da Gal\u00e9 for a programme of fashion shows, which also explore creativity, expertise, and sustainable practices: Nuno Baltazar<\/a>, B\u00e1rbara Atan\u00e1sio, <\/a><\/strong>and ARNDES<\/strong><\/a> on the Workstation platform, Valentim Quaresma<\/a>, DuarteHajime<\/a>, Gon\u00e7alo Peixoto<\/a>,<\/strong> and Dino Alves<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The fashion shows of the 64th edition of Lisboa Fashion Week will be live streamed on ModaLisboa\u2019s digital platforms<\/strong> \u2014 ModaLisboa.pt<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>,<\/strong> and Facebook<\/a> <\/strong>\u2014 and also at RTP<\/a>,<\/strong> at the MODAPORTUGAL<\/a> by CENIT\/ANIVEC<\/strong> art installation, in Pra\u00e7a do Com\u00e9rcio, and on MOP<\/a> <\/strong>digital billboards located throughout the capital.<\/p>\n
