Rooted in the belief that structural transformation within the fashion industry<\/strong> inevitably relies on education and the redistribution of opportunities, amanh\u00e3<\/strong><\/em> was designed to build bridges between young people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and the areas with the highest growth and employability in the sector: Sustainability, Technological Innovation, Visual Culture, <\/strong>and Cultural Heritage.<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2025, the programme once again mobilised the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto,<\/strong> promoting awareness-raising activities in highschools and engaging 500 students<\/strong> in sessions aimed at reshaping their perception of the fashion industry. Over five days, the participants took part in an intensive residency with a multidisciplinary training plan led by professionals known for their transformative vision and practice. – With Constan\u00e7a Entrudo<\/strong>, participants explored textile creation processes through visual and conceptual research, bridging artistic sensitivity with methodological approaches.<\/p>\n – At the B\u00c9HEN<\/strong> atelier, with Joana Duarte<\/strong>, they reflected on design as a conscious and responsible practice, directly impacting local communities, environmental sustainability, and social justice.<\/p>\n – With paatiff<\/strong>, in a session led by Jos\u00e9 Sobral and Matilde Mariano and hosted at ETIC, they worked on creating visual narratives using Artificial Intelligence, debating its limits and possibilities for the future of fashion.<\/p>\n – Finally, with S\u00f3nia Jesus<\/strong>, they deepened their understanding of visual culture as a foundational language of both individual and collective identity, concluding with a final presentation of their perspectives and experiences during the residency.<\/p>\n Additionally, the students visited the CAM \u2013 Gulbenkian Modern Art Centre<\/strong> and the MUDE \u2013 Museum of Design<\/strong>, engaging with collections and exhibitions that allowed them to develop critical observation skills, interpret different curatorial discourses, and contextualise fashion practice at the intersection of Art, Design, and History. They also visited Showpress<\/strong>, communication agency and showroom, where they were challenged to understand brand-building mechanisms and the foundations of effective, ethical, and personalised communication. The scholarship fully covers tuition fees, accommodation, and meals, enabling her to continue her path of specialisation with potential impact on the national market.<\/p>\n “The scholarship will have a great impact on everything I stand for, and everything my parents represent to me. I want to study Fashion Design, and through it, bring Cape Verde\u2019s forgotten culture into everyday life. There\u2019s so much culture that the younger generation is starting to forget. I\u2019d like to bring it into contemporary fashion and show the public that Cape Verde is rich in heritage.”<\/strong> <\/p>\n With this second edition, amanh\u00e3<\/strong><\/em> reaffirms itself as a strategic tool for intervention in the Portuguese fashion system, promoting structural change<\/strong> in how talent<\/strong> is identified, trained, and integrated. It is a programme that addresses inequalities in access while also responding to the need to redefine the narratives, practices, and structures within the sector.<\/p>\n Believing that only through diversity of backgrounds, references, and experiences can a truly innovative<\/strong> industry be built, it is the mission of Associa\u00e7\u00e3o ModaLisboa to invest in initiatives that strengthen education, representation, <\/strong>and employability<\/strong> for new generations.
