On December 11<\/strong>, the Pal\u00e1cio da Bolsa<\/strong>, in Porto<\/strong>, will host a new edition of MODAPORTUGAL LINKS<\/strong>, an initiative organised by CENIT<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 the Centre of Textile Intelligence \u2013 in partnership with ANIVEC<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 the National Association of Clothing and Apparel Industries. The event brings together young European Fashion Designers, the national Textile and Clothing Industry, and international specialists for a meeting dedicated to creativity, innovation <\/strong>and sustainability.<\/strong><\/p>\n Curated and developed by Associa\u00e7\u00e3o ModaLisboa, the event once again asserts itself as a strategic platform connecting education, design and production, highlighting the relevance of the Portuguese Textile and Clothing Industry and its role in shaping a more responsible and technologically advanced Fashion sector.<\/p>\n MODAPORTUGAL LINKS<\/strong> includes a European Fashion Design Competition<\/strong>, which this year features eighteen promising talents from eight leading fashion schools: Aalto University (Finland), Institut Fran\u00e7ais de la Mode (France), Polimoda (Italy), ESAD, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon and Modatex Porto (Portugal), London College of Fashion (United Kingdom) and HEAD Gen\u00e8ve (Switzerland).<\/p>\n Before the final presentation of their collections, the young Designers will visit, on 9th and 10th of December, five Portuguese textile companies and technological centres \u2014 CITEVE, INOVAFIL, IRM\u00c3OS RODRIGUES, PEDROSA RODRIGUES <\/strong>and VAL\u00c9RIUS 360<\/strong> \u2014 gaining insight into state-of-the-art production processes, sustainable models and industrial practices that reinforce Portugal\u2019s position as an international reference in textile innovation.<\/p>\n On December 11,<\/strong> the eighteen creatives will gather at the Pal\u00e1cio da Bolsa<\/strong>, in Porto, to present their collections to an international jury.
