Catarina Pica<\/strong> is an artist and Fashion and Textile Designer based in Lisbon. Her practice intersects art, clothing, and material research, exploring relationships between design, craft practices, technology, and sustainability. She holds an MA in Textile and Fashion Design from the Swedish School of Textiles, specialising in knitwear and biomaterials, and a BA in Painting from FBAUP. She has collaborated with designers Melisa Minca and Lidija Kolovrat and was a researcher on the Metamorfoses dos Pl\u00e1sticos project. Her work has been presented at Dutch Design Week, Contextile, and the Textile Museum of Sweden. She is the founder of the artisanal knitwear brand PICA BIOTA.<\/h4>\n
