Community, biology, gender, social exclusion, post-contemporaneity, body, mental health: the physical and the metaphysical presented in an exhibition where AI, performance, 3D, sound, interactive media and emerging technologies<\/strong> are portals to what moves society we live in. And, exactly for this reason, the Fashion we work with.<\/p>\n

WORKSTATION NEW MEDIA<\/a><\/strong>, a new project by Associa\u00e7\u00e3o ModaLisboa<\/strong>, with the support of the Rep\u00fablica Portuguesa \u2014 Cultura \/ Dire\u00e7\u00e3o Geral das Artes<\/strong>, presents its first exhibition. From the 5th to the 8th of October<\/strong>, between 12pm and 7pm<\/strong>, Carpintarias de S\u00e3o L\u00e1zaro<\/strong> has free entry<\/strong> for everyone who wants to immerse themselves in this experience that both harmonizes and confronts the disciplines of Fashion, Fine Arts and Technology.<\/p>\n

The exhibition includes the work of three invited artists \u2014 paatiff, Rudolfo Quintas<\/strong> and the collective ZABRA<\/strong> \u2014 and the five names selected from the open call launched in July. Extramundus :: Jo\u00e3o e Sara, Marco Maiato, Mindeformer & Zalda, Ricardo Santos aka Postmodern Bot<\/strong> and S4RA<\/strong> presented the best projects in the competition and, on the first day of the event, the jury<\/strong> \u2014 Eduarda Abbondanza, Miguel Flor<\/strong> (who is also the curator of the exhibition) and Jo\u00e3o Pedro Fonseca and Carincur (ZABRA)<\/strong> \u2014 will announce the winner of the two thousand euro prize<\/strong> for the first edition of WORKSTATION NEW MEDIA.<\/p>\n

On October 8th, there will be a guided tour<\/strong> of the exhibition and a conversation<\/strong> with all participants. Both events are free entry<\/strong>, and will be interpreted in Portuguese Sign Language.<\/strong><\/p>\n
