AMMA – Fashion Design Gallery<\/strong>, in Matosinhos, will host a new exhibition by Lu\u00eds Buchinho<\/strong>, from this Saturday, December 9th<\/strong>, at 5pm<\/strong>. On view until February 10, 2024<\/strong>, it brings together preparatory drawings from several of the Designer’s collections, as well as illustrations.<\/p>\n A regular presence on the Lisboa Fashion Week catwalk, awarded Best Fashion Designer at the Fashion TV Awards (2010) and Globos de Ouro (2012 and 2016), and GQ Fashion Personality (2022), Lu\u00eds Buchinho has also distinguished himself for his work as a fashion illustrator. In 2022, he illustrated his first graphic novel, titled “SAL”, with texts by Jo\u00e3o Andrade and published by the Cec\u00edlia Zino Foundation, in Madeira, which supports children and adolescents at risk. “SAL” was born from the stories of those who live in this foundation, with the aim of raising public awareness of the reality of the harshness of many childhoods.<\/p>\n AMMA – Fashion Design Gallery, located at the Casa da Arquitetura in Matosinhos, opened last October and is dedicated exclusively to promoting the work of national Designers and Fashion Creators.
