WOW

The World of Wine (WOW) is a new cultural district in Northern Portugal, located in the historical centre of Vila Nova de Gaia. It was born from the renovated Port Wine cellars and, in addition to the absolutely unique view over the Douro River and the Porto riverfront, it includes seven museums, twelve restaurants and cafes, shops, a Wine School, an exhibition space and various event spaces. Inaugurated in July 2020, WOW celebrates the culture, gastronomy, history and industries of the North region and Portugal. Noteworthy is the Porto Fashion & Fabric Museum, the museum that pays tribute to the textile industry and designer fashion, making it a must-visit. More information at wow.pt
