JURY PRESIDENT. Miguel Flor was the winner of Sangue Novo back in 1996, Miguel has since then been a major name in fashion, design, art and photography, adding to his creative multiplicity the direction of the magazine Prinçipal while constantly working on the discovery of new talents.
Constança Entrudo graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2017 with a BA in Textile Design. She has worked as a designer for Balmain, Peter Pilotto and Marques'Almeida. For her SS19 collection she held her first catwalk show in Lisbon Fashion Week and quickly gained notoriety for her deconstructed woven fabrics that result from a process which involves bonded recycled threads. All her pieces are created in accordance with her belief that making clothes is about the way we reuse flat fabric to a 3D figure form of the human body.
Nelly grew up between Portuguese and French culture. After been graduated from Esmod Paris school, she integrates the Citizen K international magazine. Kappauf offered to take the position of editor-in-chief of accessories and jewelry at the magazine. She has been a stylist for over 11 years. The fashion director GQ Portugal and the international men's magazine Dsection. She also works for over 9 years with the production house Villa Eugenie in Fashion events coordination / Line Up during Paris, Milan, London, New York Fashions Weeks for Hermès, Chanel, Fendi, Kenzo, Dior Men, Lanvin.
Massimiliano Giornetti attended the fashion design course at Polimoda in Florence. His career in the fashion industry started in Rome, where he collaborated with the designer Anton Giulio Grande. He was creative director of Salvatore Ferragamo and collaborated on the rebirth of the iconic Chinese luxury brand Shanghai Tang. In October 2019, Giornetti joined Polimoda as Head of Design Department. In February 2021, Giornetti was appointed Director of Polimoda.
Journalist, independent curator and communication consultant specialized in new media. After having graduated in Conservazione dei Beni Culturali from Università degli Studi di Pisa, he specialized in visual arts with a PhD course in the Renaissance of Palazzo Strozzi at the Istituto Nazionale di Studi in Florence. He continued with two masters degrees in communication, first at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Visual Arts Communication and Organization) and the second at Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (Fashion Communication).
