A life-long passion for design and fashion led Alexandra Pisco to Parson’s School of Design in New York, followed by work as a designer for several brands and an attempt at her own collection. In 2017, Alexandra founded Pisco & Co., an agency that aims to help strengthen independent fashion businesses in all their forms. From consulting, advising, and creating specialized programs for the development and promotion of emerging fashion brands. Alexandra acts as a conduit between the world of business, craft and creativity.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Alexandre Fonseca is the Executive President of Altice Portugal, a leading company in Portugal’s telecommunications sector, since November 2017. He is also the Executive President of Altice Labs Portugal, the investigation and innovation center of Altice Group. Member of diverse Telecommunications Sector Associations and IT collaborates with entities as a Senior Consultant, in areas such as Projects Management, Strategy and Communication. He’s the speaker and invited professor on private initiatives and on the Telecommunications, Technology and Management academic areas.
After studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University, Charlene began a career in marketing and worked at the BBC, The Guardian and Frieze. More recently, she launched A Vibe Called Tech to encourage a culturally diverse lens in design, technology, arts and culture. She currently consults for Royal Academy of Arts and Art Fund, is the Marketing lead for Society Centered Design at Projects by IF and is a member of the steering group for Chatham House and London Design Biennale Design Resonance In An Age Of Crisis. Charlene is an FT How to Spend it columnist and contributing editor who writes about Black innovators, design, travel and culture.
Nuno Marinho is the President of AORP - Portuguese Jewellery and Watchmaking Association, since 2019. Businessman in the industry for 23 years at Delfim Pires Marinho Alves & Filho, a family-owned business specialized in casting. The company, with almost 60 years of experience in the industry, is one of the oldest members of AORP.
Risto Kuulasmaa works with high performing executives, entrepreneurs, founders and specialists helping them to reach their goals and become better. Risto has an award-winning career in media and marketing as a strategist and hands-on executive producer connecting the dots between different platforms including television, events, feature films and publishing. Risto has raised seven figures for his own startup and he works as a senior advisor for large corporations. He is an executive director at Presidents Institute executive network and a board member at UNICEF Finland.
Polimoda Fashion Design Coordinator and Resident Lecturer in Sociology of the Imaginary, Silvia Tolaro has a conceptual and interdisciplinary approach to cultural and countercultural fashion phenomena. With her international experience in Trend forecasting, Tolaro provides consultancy for emerging Designers. Combining her in-depth research and educational background in Fashion Management, she works with the creative and learning process, mentoring the next generation and shaping a socially conscious and human centric approach to fashion education and the industry.
