BÉHEN is a project created by an avid dreamer that travels to lands beyond the sun, but always leaves a foot in Portugal. Joana Duarte, Fashion Designer, went to London for her master's degree at Kingston University, and started to fall in love with untold stories. Those with adventures colored by saris, berber tribes and other characters who took her with them.

He made a mistake in enrolling in Law, passed through Sociology, graduated in Anthropology. He likes the countryside, grew up in the suburbs, he’s in the middle of the city, sometimes he’s also a cultural journalist, music critic, social scientist, DJ or professor. He’s interested in translating complex realities in a simple way.

Nuno Gama was born in Azeitão, and graduated in Fashion Design by Citex, in Porto. He began his collaboration with the textile industry very early on and began selling his collections in selected stores in Lisbon and Porto. In 1993, he launched his brand, which has since been presented at ModaLisboa - Lisboa Fashion Week.

Tiago Manaia studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur D'Art Dramatique, in Paris, having worked as a cinema actor with Christophe Honoré. Back to Lisbon, he worked in theatre plays directed by Luís Miguel Cintra at Teatro da Cornucópia. In 2008 he began writing about music, society, art and fashion.

Duffy founded Global Fashion Exchange (GFX) in 2013 with the mission of challenging the fashion industry to create a more sustainable world through cultural forums and events. In addition to GFX, he also manages global partnerships for Common Objective, launched Mr. Duffy, a 100% circular, sustainable-focused fashion collection, and is a partner of Design Pavilion in New York.

Amanda Parkes is a fashion scientist with over 15 years of experience in fashion innovation, sustainability, wearable technology, interaction design and smart materials spanning research, development, and product commercialization for start ups and major tech and fashion companies. She is currently the Chief Innovation Officer of Pangaia brand, as well as the Chief Innovation Officer of Future Tech Lab.

Carolina Álvarez-Ossorio is at the forefront of communication and marketing for Ecoalf, the Spanish brand that recovers ocean floor waste and transforms it into plastic fiber for the creation of high-quality clothing.
