Malteza

Born in Viana do Castelo, Joana Maltez enrolls in Modatex in 2017, despite having just graduated in Fashion Design at the Lisbon School of Design earlier that same year. In 2021, she moves to the Netherlands to intern in a local atelier and as of today she remains abroad working for a 3D printing company.

Her passion for textiles started quite early. As a child, she assisted her mother in the artisanal production of tapestry. The taste for patterns matured during the training period and at the beginning of 2022 she launched “Malteza”, a brand that affirms itself as slow paced.
