Portuguese Shoes by Apiccaps

When an industry mobilizes across for technological innovation as a response to the climate emergency, the result can seem like a chapter in a dystopian novel. But APICCAPS’ brave new world is very much a reality. And it’s not the future: it’s the present.

In an exhibition focused on five areas of action in the footwear and components industry when it comes to raw materials — Biodegradable, Biomaterials, Leather, Nature and Recycled Plastic — Portuguese Shoes shows the public at MODALISBOA OASIS that the only way forward is sustainability sustained by strategic thinking and planning. While there is still much to explore, to innovate, to experiment, to solve, APICCAPS companies join Lisboa Fashion Week on this journey.
