LUÍS ONOFRE
Luís Onofre was born in Oliveira de Azeméis in the early 70s. He worked for brands such as Cacharel, Daniel Hechter and Kenzo before joining the family business.
In 1999, he started his own brand project and immediately began the process of establishing himself on an international scale, and today the brand is distributed on five continents. In Italy, it has received some of its main honours, such as the Prestigious Collection Award. Other honours include being decorated as a Commander of the Order of Business Merit, Class of Industrial Merit, by the President of the Republic, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, the GQ Man of The Year award and the Golden Globe for Best Designer, both in 2014.
He was President of the European Confederation of the Footwear Industry between 2019 and December 2023 and has been President of APICCAPS since 2017.
