Ihanny Luquessa, born in Angola, embarked on a journey to Portugal in 2020 to pursue his artistic vision. He graduated in Fashion Design from ETIC – School of Technologies, Innovation, and Creation.

His work is a bold exploration of form with an experimental approach. Ihanny deconstructs traditional garments, reimagining them with boundless creativity. Driven by the passion for performance art and fashion, he recently created the project “The Art of Seeing”, that transcends the boundaries of art, fashion, and identity, weaving them into a singular narrative.

ECHOES

The word and the feeling of love embody a duality — a force that can create but also destroy. This work is a poetic journey through absence, intensity and the transformative power of love through an exploration of its impact on the self.

These echoes delve into the heavy emotions that come with love. The unspoken aspects of it, such as sadness, loss, burst of emotions and the silent ache of not being enough.

In the end nothing more than symbolizing a cycle of purity and pain.
