ESPINHO 00 stems from the Designer’s relationship with the city where she grew up and the way she learned to look at it. A city facing the sea, shaped by what it has brought, taken away, and left behind. Drawing on both personal and collective memory, the collection looks at arte xávega, faith, and the differences between those who worked barefoot on the sand and those who observed the city from elsewhere. Nets, sardines, mussels, stripes, transparencies, and military innocence emerge as fragments, removed from their original context and replanted.
The collection explores what remains: traces of a city that also remain within the Designer.
