I DON'T WANT YOU

This FW24/25 collection marks four years of BÉHEN and is a comeback to the core of the brand. I Don't Want You is, above all, a statement of creative and individual freedom. I Don't Want You because I do, and because I don’t. Because I used to, because I can.

I Don't Want You is the core of BÉHEN, hand in hand with its Ribatejo roots. A contradiction when we look at the narrative of previous collections — of wanting, of a maybe, of waiting. But also a continuation of every single one of them, as it is a direct and unequivocal communication of a will. A no as strong as a yes.

The title comes from an ancient “talego”, the origin of which is uncertain, carefully embroidered in cross stitch and adorned by hand. So much time, so much care, just to say "I don't want you". An unusual piece that has aroused curiosity and affirms an attitude defended by the brand: I don't want you now. Tomorrow we'll see.

BÉHEN presents its FW24/25 collection in the form of a curious rejection, carefully crafted into garments that have been developed and perfected over four years. The brand's core is built, revealing itself in the fit of the garments and in time as the protagonist: through techniques that are part of its DNA, such as Madeira embroidery and Viana embroidery with glass beads. As this collection was marked by a homecoming, embroidery also came closer, adding Glória do Ribatejo embroidery to the Portuguese portfolio of techniques already worked on by BÉHEN. The Ribatejo roots went to Minde to weave regional blankets made from cotton, and to São Vicente do Paúl to find crochet socks from traditional folklore costumes, also in cotton.

The atelier team in Lisbon is joined by YKK Portugal, Troficolor, Fabrics4Fashion, ELAV and Calçado Penha.
