Pedro Hasrouny is a Lebanese director, screenwriter, and photographer based in Lisbon. He holds a degree in Cinema and a master’s degree in Film Directing. Pedro wrote and directed his first independent short film, “Autostrade Beirut” (Beirut Highway), which premiered in 2021 at the Raindance Film Festival, a festival recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences USA and the British Academy of Film. His master’s graduation film, “Uma Mãe Vai À Praia” (A Mother Goes To The Beach), won the award for Best Short Film (Master’s and Doctorate) at Sophia Estudante 2024, an award given by the Portuguese Academy of Cinema, and is currently in distribution. Pedro’s Photography work includes clients such as Architectural Digest, Marie Claire, and GQ in the Middle East.
