MODAPORTUGAL TALKS

FROM DESIGN TO INDUSTRY

SATURDAY, MARCH 14. 4 PM
MUDE – MUSEUM OF DESIGN

Free Admission, with mandatory registration, HERE

Portugal boasts an excellent textile and clothing industry and trains countless designers every year. However, the dialogue between the two remains a major challenge. In this talk, we will break down the paradox: what keeps the designer away from the factory, and how are new business models enabling designer-led production? This is an essential session for anyone who wants to understand how the gears of the Portuguese fashion industry turn.
