Creating at this moment is working with trembling hands, aware of how fragile everything is, and yet feeling the need to continue creating from tension.
The SOFT TISSUE – BODIES UNDER PRESSURE collection arises from the recognition that the human body is, at once, the most vulnerable and the most resilient material we possess. It is not a fixed form, but a living archive of pressure: it bruises, stretches, adapts, and carries on its surface the marks of time. Despite its fragility, the body persists, softens, reshapes, and finds new configurations.
Knitting and crochet reflect this condition: fragile stitches that, together, form flexible and protective structures. The process is slow and artisanal, attentive to the body, to time, and to the material, using natural fibers.
