Eduarda Abbondanza, President of Associação ModaLisboa, was honored with the “Fashion and Social Transformation” excellence award from the Associação Mulheres Empreendedoras Europa e África (AMEEA). The award was presented at the 7th edition of the AMEEA Merit Gala, held this Thursday at the Palácio Hotel, in Estoril.
AMEEA was founded in 2015 in Belgium, moved to Portugal in 2019, and currently is based in Cascais. Its mission is to promote, develop, and support female entrepreneurship as a lever for sustainable economic development in the European Union Member States and across all African countries. One of the association’s initiatives is the AMEEA Merit Awards Gala, aimed at honoring women who have stood out for their innovations and actions contributing to women’s empowerment.
The award was conceived by AMEEA’s founder and President, Isabel Denascimento, to celebrate and recognize the role of women in various areas such as entrepreneurship, education, fashion, healthcare, politics, sports, culture, among others.
Eduarda Abbondanza was distinguished for the “noble mission she performs as president of Associação ModaLisboa and a nationally and internationally renowned designer undertaking in the area of the Fashion Industry in Portugal”.
Associação ModaLisboa congratulates its President and all the winners, as well as AMEEA for organizing another gala celebrating female entrepreneurship.
