ModaLisboa, ModaLisboa Pebbling
The 66th Lisboa Fashion Week launches the first phase of its campaign, with creative direction by Carincur and João Pedro Fonseca from ZABRA – Posthuman Art Research Center. An open call to the community to take part in a collective process of visual and symbolic construction.
Inspired by the concept of Pebbling, the act of offering small objects or meaningful gestures to generate affection, observed both in animal behaviour and in human relationships, the campaign starts from ModaLisboa as a living system of relationships between bodies, ideas, technology, city and time.
And it begins with a question open to the community:
What do you share to create connection?
The answers, left in the comments of Lisboa Fashion Week’s Instagram post, become material for the creative process. Each word, phrase, emoji or interaction is treated as a pebble, a minimal act that enters the system and contributes to the transformation of the campaign’s initial object, a shared, neutral sphere in a state of potential.
Until the opening of the event, the campaign will be revealed through successive metamorphoses shaped by these contributions. The image is not authorially designed, but built through the relationship between all participants. Like creation itself, it is a collaborative, evolving and constantly transforming process.
