AORP | TRAVESSIA

AORP returns to Lisboa Fashion Week with an exhibition that combines its latest campaign with a capsule collection that is a fusion of talents. On Floor 1 of Factory Lisbon, we cross oceans together.

The Travessia campaign was born of the ambition of assertingPortuguese jewellery internationally, crossing the bridge that separates our essence and tradition from the need for adaptation and innovation within the scope of the new dynamics of the global market.

Travessia is reproduced through a video mapping that shows the process of creating a jewel, in which nature, the human figure, and technology are intertwined in perfect symbiosis.

The Crossings exhibition appears as a materialization of Travessia. 5 factories were challenged by AORP to create a piece of jewellery, in co-creation with a figure linked to art, sport, and culture.

Inspired by the Sea as the guiding thread of Travessia, this collection will be the result of a co-creation between each industrialist and a prominent Portuguese personality in the areas of art, culture, and sport. They are Jéssica Pina, singer, and trumpeter, together with Tavares 1922; Gustavo Ribeiro, skater, together with Mesh; Gaspar Varela, guitarist, with Farilu; Blaya, musical artist, in partnership with Juliana Bezerra Jewellery; Rafael Morais, actor, as partner selected by Magajoias.

This action is part of the project to internationalize the jewellery sector promoted by AORP and financed by Portugal 2020, within the scope of the Competitiveness and Internationalization Operational Program, with funds from the European Regional Development Fund.
