Inês Brochado is a photographer who was born and lives in Porto. She graduated in Fashion Design from ESAD Matosinhos and went on to study Photography at IPCI in Porto, before completing a Masters in Fashion Photography, with distinction, at the London College of Fashion. Since then, she has worked as a photographer and videographer, while developing her freer and more artistic vision of photography through personal projects. Her most recent work explores themes such as memory, the subconscious and nostalgia, within an aesthetic influenced by the concept of ‘hauntology’, while also incorporating archive research.
