ARNDES, Bárbara Atanásio and Constança Entrudo have been nominated for the FUTURAWARDS in the Fashion category, alongside Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida (Marques’ Almeida).
With distinct practices grounded in an authorial language and a critical approach to the fashion system, the three ModaLisboa’s Designers are established voices in the new generation of Portuguese creators, actively contributing to the consolidation of Portuguese Independent Fashion.
The FUTURAWARDS recognise excellence in Music and the Arts in Portugal, celebrating projects and creators who expand disciplinary boundaries and challenge conventions. The winners will be announced at the ceremony on April 7, at Culturgest.
Spanning areas such as Music, Cinema, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Literature, Fashion and Gastronomy, the awards, promoted by Futura – Rádio de Autor, reflect a plural creative ecosystem where different practices intersect and contribute to the development of contemporary culture.
Each category is evaluated by a jury of respected professionals. In the Fashion category, the panel includes Alex D’Alva Teixeira (musician/DJ), Anabela Baldaque (fashion designer), Graziela Sousa (ModaLisboa), Helena Sofia (lecturer and designer), Joana Barrios (actress and presenter), Patrícia Barnabé (journalist), Sofia Moser Leitão (model) and Tiago Manaia (author, Máxima).
The winners of each category will be revealed on 7 April.
