D E V I R is an act of continuous transformation, a rejection of fixed identities. It exists between who we were, who we are, and who we will become. Emerging from instability, the collection explores identity as a process of reconstruction: a body formed by fragments, memories, and influences in constant transformation. It confronts historical systems of power rooted in slavery, in which Black bodies were dehumanised and objectified. This violence persists as both a mark and a source of crisis. Inspired by Black subcultures, African dandyism, royalty, the figure of the enslaved, and hip-hop, positions Fashion as an act of resistance and reclamation. It reflects the experience of existing between worlds: being Black in white spaces, exploring the tension between oppression and affirmation, between the perfect and the imperfect.
