I AM NOT PERFECT, Dino Alves’ FW 26/27 collection, emerges at a time when everyone is searching for perfection, especially in the digital world, through filters, algorithms and unrealistic beauty standards. This collection is born from the acceptance of flaws and imperfections as identity and charisma.
The proposal speaks of defects, mistakes and errors, embracing imperfection as a form of aesthetic and even emotional resistance. It begins from the idea that irregularity, imperfection and the unfinished may carry more truth than what, in everyone’s eyes, appears to be perfect.
It also shows that, even when we seem visually perfect, inwardly we all carry imperfections that make us special and unique, and that affirm our identity.
In this collection, women’s footwear continues the partnership with Reve De Flo, and the bags are by Pisco.
Alongside the FW 26/27 collection, Dino Alves also presents a capsule collection with Humana: UP – Upcycling Collection Dino Alves X Humana. This collaboration represents more than a simple institutional partnership, showing the importance of bringing together the artistic dimension of Designer Fashion with social and environmental responsibility. By creating this collection from second-hand pieces and presenting it on the Lisboa Fashion Week runway, the Designer seeks to symbolise a certain paradigm shift: Fashion as a tool for transformation, where creativity and sustainability can move side by side, and where contemporary luxury can emerge from reuse and ethical commitment, without compromising aesthetic impact and artistic originality.
UP is more than a collection: it is a manifesto, a challenge to rethink the value of clothing, to elevate awareness, elevate material and, above all, elevate the way we look at what already exists and resignify it through upcycling, transforming past stories into a new visual narrative. This collection proposes an ascent from discarded pieces to desirable ones.
