I DO! DO YOU? (THE OTHER SIDE) is part of the #NBB01 collection and presents a segment of the first NUNO BALTAZAR BRIDAL line. The proposal establishes a conscious rupture with the traditional canons of bridal Fashion.
Starting from established conventions of form, colour and symbolism, the collection explores new aesthetic and identity narratives, where the dress is no longer merely a symbol of tradition but becomes a manifesto of questioning, individuality, contemporaneity and creative freedom.
This exercise around the imaginary of marriage opens space for new visual languages within the bridal universe, subverting and dramatising the personal and intimate territory of the atelier practice.
Authorial process and identity emerge as a disruptive challenge, materialising abstract and opposing concepts — love, beauty, memory, doubt and individuality — that coexist as reflections of the imperfect humanisation of the protagonists and their emotional geographies.
It may seem confusing. And why not? For the Designer, I DO! DO YOU? is far more than a bridal show: it is an open door to a world of possibilities.
