Matheus Dauzaker, born in Presidente Prudente, Brazil, studied Graphic Design at the Fernando Lopes-Graça School before graduating in Fashion Design from Modatex Lisboa. As a Designer, he seeks to explore different forms of expression through materials, colour, and experimentation, without limiting himself to a single style. He sees himself as a blank canvas: an open space to create, redraw, erase, and start again.

METAMORPHOSIS explores transformation as a creative principle through a gothic aesthetic and an experimental approach to clothing. Developed through a continuous process of reconstructing existing pieces and materials, the collection transforms the familiar into something unexpected, imbuing what already exists with new meanings. The pieces reject an immediate interpretation, remaining in an intermediate state between what they are and what they are becoming, while each look represents a distinct stage of the same mutating organism. The combination of feathers, bones, chains, duct tape and bicycle inner tubes reinforces this ambiguity, giving rise to a visual language where experimentation, imperfection, and transformation reveal new possibilities for clothing.
