Catarina Gomes | Manicómio

Catarina Gomes makes and develops media, innovation and journalism projects on human rights in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. She was a part of the global and multi-award-winning Love Matters’ funding team, and passed through NowHereMedia, a producer of immersive documentaries in virtual and amplified reality. Now she is at MANICÓMIO, where she manages programs, and where she’s going to launch a magazine and a radio. In parallel, she continues to develop media projects, like the ANTECÂMARA radio, the latest one and the first architecture radio in Portugal.

Guto Carvalho Neto | Fashion Designer

Guto Carvalho Neto is a Brazilian Fashion Designer. His work is mainly developed in Rio where he created his homonymous brand, in 2011. In 2016 he participated in Rio Fashion Week and in the short film Primeiro Grito. He also develops several artistic interventions, like the exhibition “O Nome do Medo”, exhibited at MAR (Rio arts Museum), in 2017 and, years later, at Aargauer Kunsthaus Museum, in Zurich (2021). Furthermore, he presented the Inquietudes da Carne Performance (2018), at Casa França Brasil; The “Ognuno il suo stile'' exhibition (2019), at Centro Cultural dos Correios; and MASP Moda (2021), at MASP (Saint Paulo Art Museum).

Most of Marcelo Nico's professional career was developed at the Philip Morris International Group (PMI), which he integrated in 2003, having been connected to the commercial, sales and marketing areas, in markets such as Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Latin America and, for the past decade, the South Africa and Indian Islands regions, where he assumed roles of increasing responsibility, until he was appointed responsible for the entire region. Born in Argentina, Marcelo Nico is currently the General Manager at Tabaqueira, one of the biggest production centers from the PMI Group in Europe.
