ModaLisboa, ModaLisboa Pebbling, Sangue Novo
SANGUE NOVO’s five finalists come together at Pátio da Galé on 13th of March at 10 PM. The second and final phase of the competition is structured around themes that open up new possibilities for young designers — from international training to responsible production, from brand creation to innovation in crafts — reinforcing SANGUE NOVO as a space for continuous development and projection in the fashion system.

Over the last few months, the five designers have developed their collections in a context of guided support, designed as a tool for real training and knowledge sharing. The programme included sessions on Brand Creation, led by Constança Entrudo and Ana Duarte, Sustainability and Materials, with Joana Campos Silva from CENIT, and Fashion Marketing and Communication, with Federico Poletti from IED Milano. The collections, which will be unveiled on the 12th, were produced with the support of textile partnerships established by Associação ModaLisboa: Calvelex/Fabrics4Fashion, RDD Textiles and Riopele, reinforcing a conscious approach to production and materials

AWARDS
ModaLisboa x IED Award – Istituto Europeo di Design
– Participation in a Master’s Programme in Fashion Design at IED Rome (1 year, starting in November 2026), worth €19,400, or in Fashion Marketing at IED Milano (1 year, starting in November 2026), worth €20,300;
– Scholarship of €4,000.
ModaLisboa x Burel Factory Award
– One-month creative residency at Burel Factory, with technical and creative support from the brand’s design team, allowing for the development of pieces using Burel materials and their presentation in a collection under the designer’s own name on the ModaLisboa – Lisbon Fashion Week Workstation platform;
– Grant of €1,000.
ModaLisboa x Showpress Award
– Press relations and showroom at the Showpress communications agency for one season.
