Isza and Bárbara Atanásio are the big winners of the Sangue Novo supported by Seaside competition.
After carefully evaluating the collections of the 6 finalists, the jury — Miguel Flor (Jury President), Adriano Batista (Editor-in-Chief, Fucking Young! magazine), Ana Tavares (CEO, RDD Textiles), Joana Jorge (Project Manager, ModaLisboa), João Magalhães (Fashion Designer) and Olivia Spinelli (Head of Fashion School and Art Director at IED Milano) — distinguished Isza with the ModaLisboa x IED – Istituto Europeo di Design Award. The designer will receive a full scholarship for the Master’s degree in Fashion Brand Management at IED Florence, worth 24,000 euros, and a scholarship of 4,000 euros.
Bárbara Atanásio won the ModaLisboa X RDD Textiles Award: a three-month internship at RDD Textiles, where she will have the opportunity to create a collection for RDD using materials from Valérius 360 (Valérius’ recycling centre) and a collection name to present on the Lisbon Fashion Week’s Workstation platform. She will also receive a scholarship of 1,750 euros for the development of this new collection.
The two winners also benefit from press relations and showroom services at the communications agency Showpress, for one season.
