ARIANA ORRICO
WORKSTATION DESIGN
Ariana Orrico holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon and is currently completing a Master’s degree in the same field. Her practice explores the plasticity of materials and handcrafted techniques, developing an experimental approach to fashion design. Her work challenges conventional notions of dress and investigates new relationships between body, material and form through processes of deconstruction and the creation of hybrid garment typologies.
In March 2026, Ariana was awarded the ModaLisboa x Burel Factory Prize as part of the Sangue Novo – Young Designers Competition. The prize included a one-month creative residency at Burel Factory and the development of an original collection, presented on the Workstation platform at Lisboa Fashion Week.
