Constança Entrudo’s SS25 collection invites you to an idyllic holiday scene: sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, a desperate soul. Your holiday cotton striped shirt dresses transform into bubbling hemmed shirts, skirts, and dresses, striving to embody the buoyancy and safety of a lifesaving ring. Each piece combines playful volume with a sense of security, represented by the elasticity of the fabrics, celebrating the importance of movement and comfort for a feeling of freedom.

The collection progressively takes you underwater—where the seas grow crowded—into a fantastical realm of the Cambrian Period, 541 million years ago. This era marks a pivotal point in the history of life on Earth, and the earliest moment we could have survived. The prints are crafted from collages of very fragile paper, assembled from the pages of a 1950s issue of LIFE magazine. Carefully rearranged by Constança, these prints form their own unique entities, primarily featuring extinct sea species. This season, even the prints possess a material quality, creating illusions of other materials: denim that looks like torn paper from an old book, and striped knits and denims mimicking poplin or pinstripes. Striped poplin shirts, textured denims, and pleated cottons take center stage, acting as a canvas for underwater motifs. Colorful striped patterns create dense and unique color compositions, a constant in Constança’s practice. In this collection, these patterns are translated onto handmade “unwoven fabrics” — the brand’s signature technique — denim, and crepe, gaining further 3D materiality.

As always with CONSTANÇA ENTRUDO, fabrics and textiles have a sophisticated character and unparalleled quality. Merino wool woven in delicate yarns appears fragile but is expertly blended with lightweight knitted fabrics, handcrafted for both comfort and elegance. Bonded colorful yarns, a signature of the brand, may look delicate and lose their form, but they become resilient through innovative weaving technology that slightly melts, creating more durable surfaces. Fuzzy mohair and premium wool brushed flannel complete this extraordinary range of materials, giving CONSTANÇA ENTRUDO a unique allure where value and style are perfectly aligned. The body is always highlighted, as classic ruched knits and swimwear explore a fusion with lingerie elements, reintroducing lace into the collection — bringing touches of femininity to all pieces.
