Diogo dos Santos is a film student, a photographer since 2019 and, more recently, a model. His interest in photography is naturally his own, as he feels that his most acute sense is sight. Through photography, he has been able to develop a greater awareness of his body and the bodies of others, how light moulds us into what we are and how others perceive us. This process was triggered by the need to feel good about himself and his body, and he began taking self-portraits, which quickly evolved into portraits of other people. The aim has always been to create the most faithful and honest representation of the person on the other side of the lens. Fashion photography has always been his favourite thing to do, as he always saw the opportunity to tell a story together with designers, make-up artists and stylists.
