GOOD AND BAD

This collection tells us about the duality between good and evil or, if you like, good and bad, beautiful and ugly, beneficial and harmful, light and dark, perfect and imperfect, as two opposing forces that condition and mould our lives and, above all, our decisions.

Inspired by this inner contradiction, inherent to the human condition, the SS25 collection explores how good and evil manifest themselves in people's character and choices.

It proposes, through visual reflection, to represent a constant struggle between virtues such as kindness, honesty, compassion, education and vices such as envy, greed or malice, also leading us to reflect on the masks we wear and the hidden truths that lead us to behave in certain ways.

The battle between the two forces is reflected in wide, flowing shapes in light fabrics, with delicate details that evoke softness, transparency and honesty, contrasted with bars and strong net patterns made with laser cutting that symbolise a certain rigidity and brutality and patterns that are beginning to fall apart. Pieces reminiscent of idyllic landscapes, excessive frills, draperies. All this materialised through the use of fabrics from stagnant stocks, manipulated through laser cuts, discolouration printing and laser corrosion, tulle, denim in organic and recycled cotton, marocain, viscose, poplin, sequins, linen, twill and jersey.

Pale, luminous colours symbolise purity, contrasted with aggressive, acidic colours that remind us of evil, poison and pollution: black, pearl, grey, red, orange, pink, yellow, green, blue, brown, ecru and aqua.

The women's shoes are Reve de Flo by Dino Alves.
