ModaLisboa Designers, Constança Entrudo, Joana Duarte (Béhen Studio), and Valentim Quaresma have been nominated for the Portuguese Golden Globes in the Fashion – Personality of the Year category.
With distinct paths, but united by a strong authorial vision and profoundly innovative work, the three designers have contributed to the strengthening of Portuguese independent fashion, through proposals that explore new creative languages, artisanal techniques, and alternative materials.
Also nominated in the same category are Inês Amorim and Reid Baker (Ernest W. Baker), and Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida (Marques’ Almeida).
The 29th Portuguese Golden Globes Gala will take place on September 28th, at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon, and will once again recognize the most outstanding professionals in the fields of Fashion, Film, Theater, Music, Fiction, Entertainment, Digital, and Humor. The ceremony will, once again, be hosted by journalist Clara de Sousa.
ModaLisboa congratulates all the nominees and salutes SIC and Caras magazine for hosting another gala celebrating national talent.
